Graham founded G W Scott in 1996, building it on a framework of excellent accounting services and expertise in business development.
Graham holds two University degrees – in agriculture and accounting - and after his studies he travelled the world working as an accountant in Atlanta and London before returning to New Zealand and setting up the G W Scott business.
Graham has a down-to-earth approach and the knack of explaining and simplifying complex accounting issues to help clients with their businesses. He lives and breathes the firm's ethic of "doing what we say we will do", and his vision has always been to have a business where his team can have good work-life balance.
With governance skills and a forward-thinking approach that are sought after in the community, Graham is a trustee of the Waipa Community Facilities Trust and a trustee of the Perago Trust, as well as treasurer for the Maungatautari Ecological Island Trust.
In his spare time, there's never a dull moment - Graham has started a Master's degree in business, in his words "to keep my brain sharp!"
